Today an extraordinary meeting of the Presidium of the Federation of Practical Athletic All-Arounds of Russia was held in Moscow (FPAMR). During the meeting, key issues of the current activities of FPAMR, as well as strategic plans for the near future were considered.
FPAMR First Vice-President Magomedemin Gadzhiev noted that in the first quarter of 2026, the federation successfully implemented a number of planned events aimed at popularizing practical all-around athletics in various regions of the Russian Federation.
During the discussion of plans for the second quarter of 2026, special attention was paid to the upcoming military-patriotic tournament in practical athletic all-around and military-tactical training of students, employees and residents of the Rostov region in memory of the holder of the Order of Courage, captain of the Russian Armed Forces Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Simonenko, who died in the Northern Military District, in Rostov-on-Don. The tournament is intended to serve as an important tool for military-patriotic education of students, employees and residents of the Rostov region, perpetuating the feat and memory of the hero.
A significant part of the meeting was devoted to discussing the plan for preparing and holding the first scientific and practical conference on the topic “Practical athletic all-around as an innovative interdepartmental platform for training pre-conscription youth.” Members of the Presidium and invited participants unanimously approved the presented plan, recognizing it as promising and meeting modern challenges in the field of patriotic and physical education of the younger generation. The Chairman of the FPAMR Methodological Committee, Vyacheslav Pirogov, was instructed to finalize the plan taking into account all the proposals made and submit it for consideration by the Conference Organizing Committee by April 20, 2026.
The Presidium also paid attention to the issue of developing and adopting uniform standards for completing practical athletic all-around distances in indoor facilities and open areas.
In addition, decisions were made to create regional branches of FPAMR in the Astrakhan and Tula regions and to admit the Federation of Practical Athletic All-Arounds of the Republic of Dagestan as members of FPAMR.
At the end of the meeting, special attention was paid to the issue of strict compliance by the regional branches of FPAMR with the requirements of Russian legislation in the field of security.
At the end of the meeting of the Presidium, a practical study of issues related to the development of criteria for assessing self-defense techniques was carried out. This event was attended byjunior police lieutenants, students of the 711 training platoon 5 “E” course of the Faculty of Training of Employees of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Units (FPSPEBiP) N.A. Minaev and N.A. Polyakov.
