On March 12, in Rostov-on-Don, a meeting was held with the First Vice-President of the Federation of Practical Athletic All-Arounds of Russia (hereinafter referred to as FPAMR) M.N. Gadzhiev with the Chairman of the Regional Branch of DOSAAF Russia in the Rostov Region, the representative of DOSAAF Russia in the Southern Federal District, Colonel Viktor Verevka and his deputy, responsible for patriotic education, combat veteran, Colonel Alexander Efarov.
On the same day, the participants visited the base of the DOSAAF educational center of Russia at the Don State Polytechnic University (DOSAAF – DSPU), where they were joined by the head of the DOSAAF – DSPU Center, colonel, candidate of pedagogical sciences, combat veteran Nikolai Mogilets, as well as the leaders of the Rostov Regional Public Military Patriotic Organization “Russian Unity” and Rostov regional branch of the “Union of Volunteers of Donbass” Stanislav Koshlich and Alexander Subbotin, respectively.
Following a comprehensive discussion of the concept of development of AMP in the Rostov region and an exchange of views, a general meeting was held to open the regional branch of FPAMR in the Rostov region, following which Stanislav Koshlich was elected its chairman.
Nikolai Nikolaevich Mogilets, a veteran, one of the country’s authoritative functionaries in the field of physical culture and sports (he held the positions of chief of physical education of the Southern Military District and Minister of Sports of the Stavropol Territory) welcomed the opening of the RO FPAMR in the Rostov region with the words: “Very good! Good luck in this creative and creative activity! Only those who go will master this direction of preparing many generations of pre-conscription youth of Russia to carry out combat training tasks!”
In addition, Alexander Vladimirovich Subbotin noted the relevance of the introduction and development of PAM at the present stage and expressed his readiness to promote the development of PAM not only in the Rostov region, but also beyond its borders, in particular, in Crimea.
Ministry of Physical Culture and sports of the Rostov region also fully supported the development of a new type of competitive activity in the region.
