Last Thursday, March 13, the Stavropol Territory became the site for a working trip of the First Vice-President of the Federation of Practical Athletic All-Arounds of Russia (FPAMR) Gadzhiev Magomedemin Nurutdinovich. The purpose of the visit is to popularize and further develop practical athletic all-around (PAM) in the region.
The working meeting, held at the Regional Branch of DOSAAF of Russia in the Stavropol Territory, brought together key figures: the head of DOSAAF, Yuri Aleksandrovich Grishko, and the chairman of the coordinating council of the Stavropol Association of Northern Military District Veterans, Vitaly Mikhailovich Konovalov.
Magomedemin Nurutdinovich familiarized himself in detail with the rich material and technical base and a wide range of activities of DOSAAF Russia in the Stavropol Territory. Particular attention was paid to the potential for cooperation between DOSAAF and the Stavropol Association of Northern Military District Veterans in the framework of the development of new sports areas.
The culmination of the working day was a visiting presentation of practical athletic all-around in the village of Aleksandrovskoye on the basis of the military sports club “Ratnik”. Participants of the event were able not only to get acquainted with the features of AMP, but also to see it in action.
During a constructive dialogue about the forms and methods of joint activities, the meeting participants came to a unanimous decision to open the Stavropol branch of FPAM. This is a significant step that will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the development of practical athletic all-around in the region.
As confirmation of the further strengthening of partnerships and to ensure effective leadership of the new regional branch, Vitaly Mikhailovich Konovalov has been nominated for the post of Chairman of the FPAMR Branch in the Stavropol Territory.
Visit of the First Vice President FPAMR was not just an introductory meeting, but paved a clear road map for the integration of practical all-around athletics into the sports life of the Stavropol Territory, opening new horizons for athletes, veterans and the younger generation.
