From July 6 to July 9, a test tournament on the type of competitive activity “Practical athletic all-around” “From the SKY into BATTLE!” was held at the Korkmaskala airfield in the Kumtorkalinsky district in the Republic of Dagestan.
The tournament was organized by the Federation of Practical Athletic All-around of the Republic of Dagestan with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Dagestan, the Federation of Practical Athletic All-around of Russia, the Federation of Army Hand-to-hand Combat of the Republic of Dagestan, the Dagestan Parachuting Federation and the Makhachkala Aviation Technical Sports Club DOSAAF of Russia. Magomedemin Nurutdinovich Gadzhiev, First Vice-President of the fpamr, was delegated to provide practical and methodological assistance.
The PAM distance on the open area of the tournament consisted of landing, UAV control, sports knife throwing, shooting, self-defense, first aid, overcoming obstacle course elements, running in a bulletproof vest and helmet.
The event was attended by boys and girls in the age groups of 14-15 years, 16-17 years, 18 years and older. The participants were able to demonstrate their best qualities, test their strength and gain valuable experience in conditions as close to reality as possible.
It is especially worth noting that the last tournament clearly demonstrated the deep continuity of generations. The involvement of ITS participants in the PAM classes has become a clear evidence of this. The experience and perseverance of military personnel, their willingness to share knowledge and skills with the younger generation make it possible not only to pass on sports traditions, but also to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, courage and responsibility!
The tournament became a test for the preparation of the children for the first open tournament of the Republic of Dagestan on PAM, dedicated to the memory of the participants of the St. Caspian Flotilla “from the SEA to BATTLE!”, which is scheduled for July 25, 2026 on the basis of the sports complex “lotos” on the coast of the Karabudakhkentsky district.
