RECOGNITION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE UTILITY MODEL

In February 2023, a significant event occurred: the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) officially registered a new utility model – a “ceramic-composite combat knife.”

One of the authors and developers of this utility model is the President of the Federation of Practical Athletic All-Arounds of Russia, Chairman of the Board of the G3 Association, author of the Golden Triangle close combat system Alexander Gennadievich Shlychkov.

For reference:

The utility model relates to edged weapons, namely combat knives, and is intended to equip fighters of special units. This knife can be used in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or for personal self-defense. Compared to analogue combat knives, the design of a ceramic-composite combat knife is more ergonomic and lighter. The disadvantage of other analogues of the knife is also visibility during entrance control within the framework of metal detectors, which makes it difficult for secret service officers to carry weapons concealed. The use of the developed shape and non-metallic materials in the design of a ceramic-composite knife increases the mobility of the utility model and makes it invisible when trying to be detected by a metal detector.

Thus, the authors of the utility model managed to achieve its desired functionality and combat effectiveness.

Given the high significance of the development, in February 2026, the Military The innovative technopolis “Era”, which is one of the leading centers of military-technical research and development in Russia, decided to provide material incentives for Alexander Shlychkov.

Congratulations to Alexander Gennadievich on the high and well-deserved assessment of his innovative project!
