The traditions of patriotic education of young people were continued at the Regional Department of DOSAAF of Russia in the Tula Region.
On May 29, the final game “Tula is a Hero City!” was held here, organized by the E. Yu. Rydin Cadet Training Center with the support of the Tula City Administration’s municipal grant. This event was a true challenge for the young participants, where each team competed for the title of winner, showcasing their skills according to the standards of the Russian Federation of Practical Athletic Competitions (FPAMR).
In the final game, four teams competed, and their path to victory lay through five different challenges: knife throwing, practical shooting, tactical medicine, a march, and a historical quiz.
The inclusion of elements of practical athletic all-around (PAM) in the scenario of the game-Zarnitsa, allowed the organizers to bring the atmosphere of the tests as close as possible to the real challenges that young people may face in life. This allows not only to increase interest in PAM as a type of competitive activity with the prospect of its further recognition as a sport, but also to effectively educate future defenders of the Fatherland, purposeful and comprehensively prepared citizens.
